We are currently living in an area called Zindiro, which feels a little more rural than the city of Kigali. It’s interesting how a place can seem so close to the city on a map, yet getting there can be quite an adventure!

Although Kigali isn’t far away, a trip into town can take over an hour during rush hour. Many of the roads are narrow, single-lane roads, and some are still unpaved dirt roads. With traffic congestion thrown into the mix, we are quickly learning that getting from one place to another requires a little patience and planning.
As we settle into our new life here, we’re discovering that living in Rwanda is about more than just adapting to a new country. It’s about embracing a different pace of life, learning to let go of expectations, and appreciating the little things along the way.
We’re only just beginning to find our feet, and every day brings something new to discover! ❤️🇷🇼
